What the free scan checks

Enter your domain above and the scanner loads your homepage the way an automated accessibility checker would, then reports what it finds against WCAG 2.1 success criteria. It takes a minute or two and you do not need to give us a credit card.

  • Images and media without text alternatives a screen reader can announce.
  • Color contrast that is too low for people with limited vision to read comfortably.
  • Keyboard access: menus, forms and buttons that a mouse can reach but a keyboard cannot.
  • Form labels that leave assistive technology guessing what a field is for.
  • Headings and structure that make a page hard to navigate without sight.
  • Link and button names that read as “click here” out of context.

What it does not check

Automated tools are good at finding a specific set of problems, and they cannot judge everything. They do not know whether your image description is accurate, whether a video caption matches the audio, or whether a checkout flow makes sense to someone using a screen reader end to end. Studies of automated testing generally put its coverage at a minority of known accessibility issues. Treat the scan as a starting point, not a verdict, and be skeptical of anyone who tells you a scan or a widget alone makes a site compliant.

What happens after the scan

If you want help reading it, call 1-866-677-4443 or send us a message and we will walk through the findings with you, tell you which ones matter most for your kind of business, and quote the work. Plans start at $79 per month and include setup, monitoring and policy updates. Learn more about ADA website compliance or how demand letters usually start.
